As part of the new approach to new business in the new year, the mrhill.com website has been re-dressed and refreshed to better suit the needs of it’s webmaster - me! The new site also shows off a few of the newer web development techniques that are slowing taking over the Internet.

The first method operates the main navigation of the site, using jQuery to control a page scroll effect. The second technique uses Ajax coding to instantly switch between content in the footer of the site.

Both of these additions to the site help to smooth out the browsing experience from the users point of view. There are no more long waits between pages, and you never see the ugly rendering process of the browser as it works it’s way through the newly loading page.
